There’s something quite magical about looking back at where you started, especially when that journey began with a laptop, a strong cup of builders tea (unfortunately I don’t drink coffee so this is the closest I get to a caffeine hit!) and a ‘what have I gotten myself into?’ moment. When I launched Aquarius PA Services, I had no idea it would grow into what it is today a thriving UK Virtual Assistant Company helping small businesses get their time back. But let’s rewind a little and start from the beginning.
How It All Began
For years, I worked in corporate relocation in central London, a fast-paced industry where I was constantly dealing with international clients, which often meant working outside regular hours, early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. It was exciting, sure, but also exhausting. The demands of the job began taking their toll, and I realised I needed a change something that would allow me to use my skills but give me the work-life balance I was craving.
That’s when I discovered the world of virtual assistance. At first, I bought into a VA franchise, which gave me a fantastic foundation in Professional Virtual Assistant services. Sam joined Aquarius PA Services three years ago, bringing over 15 years of experience in dental practice management. As a mum of two, she was looking for a career that gave her flexibility while still allowing her to use her skills and I couldn’t have found a better fit. Sam is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to organisation and client management. She’s the one making sure invoices get sent, chasing down late payments with the persistence of a detective, and generally keeping everything running smoothly. She’s also the queen of Virtual Business Management, ensuring businesses stay on top of their admin so they can focus on growing. And she is very good at giving me the much needed kick up the whatsit when I need it too!!
Meet Laura
Then there’s Laura, who joined the team with over 10 years of experience in property management. With three boys at home, she’s no stranger to juggling multiple responsibilities and that makes her an incredible asset to Aquarius PA Services. She’s brilliant at Personal Assistant Services, diary management, and making sure clients have everything they need before they even realise they need it. Clients love her for her calm, solution-focused approach, and honestly, I don’t know how we managed before she came on board.
Together, the three of us have built Aquarius PA Services into what it is today a trusted Remote Work Solutions company helping businesses across the UK stay organised, efficient, and stress-free.
